Meet the instructor

Indra Mukherjee is an Associate Director in the Gas Power and Climate Solutions Group at S&P Global Commodity Insights, with over eight years of experience in research and consulting within the clean energy sector. In his current role, Mr. Mukherjee leads Wind Technology and Supply Chain Research, focusing on advancements in wind turbine technology, supply chain analysis, cost dynamics, and the competitive landscape of equipment suppliers. He also explores key emerging trends such as wind energy recycling and the evolving use of raw materials in the wind industry and its resulting impact on costs.

Mr. Mukherjee's analysis and commentary is frequently published by leading wind energy industry media and the global press. He has also presented at many leading industry events and conferences. Before joining S&P Global, Mr. Mukherjee worked at Transparency Market Research, contributing to clean energy market reports. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata, and an MBA in Power Management from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun.
