Meet the instructor

Eric Wright is a senior research analyst with a background in environmental and climate science, electric utility regulatory and operational analysis, and renewable energy and carbon markets research. His recent focus areas include emissions mitigation and sequestration, distributed clean energy tech deployment, supply chain greenhouse gas inventories and assessment, and climate and decarbonization strategy. Mr. Wright holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Atmospheric Science from the University of Missouri and a Master of Science in Climate Change and Society from North Carolina State University. He is also the author of Be a Climate Warrior, an information-driven, nonfiction book examining cultural, behavioral, and psychological dimensions of the climate crisis.
