Meet the instructor
Nick Edström rejoined S&P Global Commodity Insights as Global Lead, Hydrogen Pricing, in early 2024 where he is responsible for a range of low carbon and renewable ammonia and hydrogen price assessments. Prior to rejoining Platts, Nick focused on the development and commercialization of alternative fuel combustion engine technologies in the maritime sector, including methanol and LNG-fuelled ICEs, as well as hydrogen and ammonia two and four stroke engine developments while editor of a specialist technical maritime publication. He has previously held a variety of senior editorial roles covering ferrous and dry bulk markets at S&P Global CI, Argus Media and CRU. He has an MSc in Sustainable Resources from UCL in London, and gained a first class degree in modern languages from Kings College London “many moons ago”. He is married with two young children.
